MEMORIAL DAY SCHEDULE

CITY HALL, TRANSIT, PARKS FACILITIES & SANITATION

 

City Hall and Owensboro Transit System will be closed on Monday, May 29 in observance of Memorial Day.

 

The Owensboro Sanitation Department will operate on a modified schedule for all residential and commercial customers. There will be no trash collection on Monday, May 29. All routes will be delayed one day with Friday routes being collected on Saturday, June 3.

 

The Parks Administration Office will be closed on Memorial Day. The following park facilities will also close on May 29: Edge Ice Center and Merchant Centre Court.

 

Parks facilities including Hillcrest Golf Course, Ben Haws Golf Course, Combest Pool, and Dugan Best Recreation Center will remain open.
