CITY HALL, PARKS & RECREATION FACILITIES,

TRANSIT, AND SANITATION

THANKSGIVING HOLIDAY SCHEDULE

 

City Hall: Closed on Thursday, November 28 and Friday, November 29

 

Parks & Recreation: The Parks & Recreation Administration Center and Dugan Best Recreation Center will close Thursday, November 28 and Friday, November 29. The Edge Ice Center, Ben Hawes Golf Course, and Hillcrest Golf Course will close Thursday, but open again on Friday. The Dugan Best Recreation Center will open Saturday, November 30.

 

Owensboro Transit System: City buses will not run on Thursday, November 28 and will run on a reduced schedule from 7:45 a.m. to 4:15 p.m. on Friday, November 29.

 

The Owensboro Sanitation Department: Closed on Thursday, November 28. Normal trash collection will occur Monday, November 25, through Wednesday, November 27. There will be no trash collection on Thursday. Thursday routes will be collected on Friday, November 29, and Friday routes will be collected on Saturday, November 30.
