                                                       Dugan Best Recreation Center and Neighborhood Alliance

                                                                                 to Host Annual Gala Day

 

The Dugan Best Recreation Center and the Dugan Best Neighborhood Alliance would like to invite the general public to their annual Gala Day on Saturday, July 8 from 10:00-3:00 p.m. Multiple activities will be offered throughout the day including free health screenings provided by Owensboro Health, and also the July Walk with the Doc event at 10:30 a.m. The Regional Blood Bank will be on the property to accept donations, and crews from Owensboro Police Department and Owensboro Fire Department will also be on site.

 

A 3 on 3 basketball tournament will get underway starting at noon; no pre-registration is required. There are also free inflatables, a drawing for prizes including a flat-screen TV, and hamburgers and hot dogs while supplies last.
