                      Dugan Best Recreation Center & Breaking the Cycle to Host New Program to Help Youth Set Goals for the New Year

The staff at Dugan Best Recreation Center is teaming up with Breaking the Cycle to host a fun event called “Balloon Stomp & Vision - 2023”, an event to encourage youth to stomp out the old and prepare for the new.

Balloon Stomp & Vision will take place on January 3 at 3:30 p.m. at the Dugan Best Recreation Center, 1003 Omega Street. All youth ages 8 to 18 are encouraged to attend.

Participants will start the day stomping hundreds of balloons to simulate the old before heading into the Vision project. Participants will set their intentions and then, using inspirational images and texts will create a board to inspire them toward their dreams and goals for the future.   Pizza and drinks will be served as the youth discuss their boards and learn how to create a checklist to help them focus and achieve their dreams.
