Edge Ice Center Offering Learn-to-Skate Classes

 

The City of Owensboro’s Edge Ice Center is accepting registrations for its next session of Learn-to-Skate. The Learn-to-Skate program is formatted by the ISI (Ice Skating Industry), the nation’s largest recreational ice skating organization.

Classes are available for all ages and abilities, from 3 years of age and older, and are held once a week. Space is limited, register early.

MONDAY CLASSES SEPTEMBER 7 - 28

Times:

Freestyle:  1-3; 4-10
Warm-up:  4:30 – 4:45 p.m.
Instruction: 4:45 – 5:30 p.m.

Fee: $45 – includes 1 hour of ice time (45 minutes of instruction plus 15 minutes of practice ice) and skate rental.
Registration Deadline: August 28

TUESDAY CLASSES SEPTEMBER 8 - 29

Times:

Tots 1-2, Tots 3-4, Pre-Alpha 5:30 p.m.
Alpha, Beta, Gamma, Delta   6:00 p.m.

Fee: $39 – includes 1 hour of ice time (30 minutes of instruction plus 30 minutes of practice ice) and skate rental.
Registration Deadline: August 28
