NORTHWEST NEIGHBORHOOD ALLIANCE PRESENTS:
GROOVIN’ ON THE GREEN
The Northwest Neighborhood Alliance is hosting a FREE Rhythm and Blues concert for the whole community on Sunday, July 24 at 5:00 p.m. Groovin’ on the Green will be a showcase of music from the genres of Blues, Jazz, R&B, and Funk – featuring performances by Crooked Eye Tommy, Higher Ground, and My Philosophy. This family-friendly concert will take place at Moneta Sleet Jr. Park (formerly Max Rhoads Park), located at 616 Walnut Street. Guests are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and/or blankets for seating. There will be food vendors on-site and additional parking is available in the St. Stephen Cathedral parking lot, located on Cedar Street. You will not want to miss out on this fun and FREE event!
