                                                            Learn to Swim Session 4 at Combest Pool

 

Learn to Swim this summer with Owensboro Parks & Recreation!  Lessons are offered for ages 5 and up, and all skill levels are welcome.

Session 4 begins July 24-28 and is offered at either 5:00 or 6:00 p.m.

Deadline to register is July 14

Whether you are a beginner or a seasoned swimmer, we have a class that will fit your needs. Classes range in skill levels and follow the guidelines and procedures set by the American Red Cross.

Lessons are $65, plus tax per person and include: 45 minutes of instruction, 15 minutes of FREE swim, 2 FREE passes to the Edge Ice Center and FREE swimming on Saturdays.

NEW this Summer We are offering Semi-Private Lessons as well.

 

The ratio for semi-private lessons is 2 participants to a single instructor. A smaller group setting encourages faster learning of swim skills along with cooperation and teamwork. With only two participants the instructor is able to focus more on their individual needs and help them improve at a pace they are comfortable with.   

 

Semi-privates will cost $90, plus tax per swimmer and will be offered for skill levels 4-6 during sessions 4 .  Skill level 1-3 were offered previously this summer. All lessons are 45-minutes in length including 15 minutes of free swim.
