CITY OF OWENSBORO ANNOUNCES ‘LIGHTS ON THE OHIO’ EVENT  

 

The City of Owensboro is proud to announce a new event, Lights on the Ohio, which will take place on Saturday, August 21st, beginning at 8:15 PM.

Lights on the Ohio will feature a pyromusical performance of synchronized lighting on the Blue Bridge, music, and a fireworks display. The event will take place alongside our weekly summer concert series Live on the Banks, which features live music from 7:00 to 9:00 PM in Smothers Park.

“We’re excited to showcase our bridge lights this weekend with Lights on the Ohio,” said Tim Ross, Director of Public Events for the City of Owensboro. “We welcome the community to join us downtown to enjoy a fun-filled weekend including Friday After 5, Owensboro HydroFair, and Live on the Banks.”
