Moreland Park will be closing today, July 8 at dusk. The severe weather that moved through the area yesterday afternoon and this morning caused damage to the OMU pole that supplied power to the entire park resulting in a power outage.

 

OMU is working on the problem and hopes to have this fixed sometime tomorrow depending on weather conditions this evening. If they are unable to fix the problem by tomorrow evening, the park may close again Saturday, July 9 at dusk.
