O.Y.H.A. Blast Bash Ice Hockey Tournament March 21 & 22 / Edge Ice Center Public Sessions Canceled

The Owensboro Youth Hockey Association is wrapping up this year’s season at The Edge Ice Center with its annual Blast Bash Tournament. Games begin on Saturday, March 21 at noon and play until 10 p.m. Play will resume Sunday, March 22 at 8 a.m. Championship rounds start at 10:40 a.m. for the Mites and Mini-Mites, Upper House Championship plays at 11:45 a.m., and Junior Varsity Championship is at 1:25 p.m.
“Blast Bash” is the culmination of another great year for the Owensboro Youth Hockey Association. “O.Y.H.A. is proud to offer the great sport of hockey to area youth, both boys and girls, ranging from 4-18 years of age”, says Clint Rowell, O.Y.H.A. President.
Come to The Edge and witness the coolest game in town where some of the equipment bags are bigger than the players. Admission is free to all games. Game time information is available at www.owensborohockey.com.
Due to the tournament schedule, the following public ice skating sessions will be cancelled:
- Saturday, March 21, 1-4 p.m. & 7-10 p.m.
- Sunday, March 22, 1-4 p.m.
