Owensboro Parks and Recreation is taking registrations for 2016 Fall Baseball Leagues. Leagues available are listed below:

 

• Rookie league (machine pitch)……………7-8 year olds
• Minor league (player pitch league………..9-10 year olds
• Major league (player pitch league)……….11-12 year olds

 

2016 age groups are based upon the child’s age on May 1, 2017. The leagues will teach the fundamentals of baseball, including hitting, throwing, catching, fielding, and team sportsmanship. 

 

 

League play will begin Tuesday, September 6. All games will be played at the Owensboro Softball Complex, located in Jack C. Fisher Park. The registration fee is $52 per player and includes a team t-shirt and hat. The deadline to register is Friday, August 12. The Coaches meeting will be Thursday, August 18.
