Press Release - 2016 KHSAA State Fastpitch Softball Championship - Fisher Park - Owensboro Parks and Recreation

The City of Owensboro, in partnership with Owensboro-Daviess County Convention and Visitors Bureau, is hosting the 2016 Worth/KHSAA State Fastpitch Softball Championship June 9-11.
All games will be played at the Owensboro Softball Complex, Jack C. Fisher Park, beginning Thursday, June 9. The gates will open at 4 p.m. with first round games beginning at 5 p.m. Games will continue all day Friday starting at 9 a.m., with the last games scheduled at 7 p.m. Gates open at 8 a.m. Gates will re-open Saturday morning at 8 a.m. with games beginning again at 9 a.m. The championship game is scheduled for 1 p.m. ALL GAMES CENTRAL STANDARD TIMES
The 2016 Worth/KHSAA Softball State Tournament will be held at Jack C. Fisher Softball Complex in Owensboro, Kentucky – Thursday, June 9th through Saturday, June 11th.

Day tickets and Session tickets can be purchased online in advance and also at the park each day of the tournament. Tickets cost $10-$20. Children 10 years of age and under will be admitted free of charge. You must exchange each Eventbrite online advance ticket purchased for a KHSAA Armband upon entrance to the event (look for the KHSAA Eventbrite location). These armbands do allow to re-entry during the session(s) that they are purchased for. Tickets can be purchased online at www.khsaa.org or at the gate. In addition, due to event parking areas throughout the park, a portion of the greenbelt at the front area of the park will be closed to pedestrian access.
