REGISTRATION OPEN FOR OWENSBORO PARKS & RECREATION HOLIDAY DAY CAMP

 

Owensboro Parks & Recreation is accepting registrations for the 2024 Holiday Day Camp, offering a fun and engaging way for children ages 5-12 to spend their winter break. The camp will run from December 19 to January 3 (closed December 24, 25, and January 1), with a variety of activities to keep kids active and entertained throughout the holidays.

 

Camp Details:

• Dates: December 19, 2024 - January 3, 2025 (closed Dec. 24, 25, and Jan. 1)
• Hours: 7:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.
• Location: Owensboro Parks & Recreation Administrative Center
• Early Drop-Off: 7:00 a.m. for $2 per child, per day
• Ages: 5-12 years (must be enrolled in Kindergarten)
• Cost: $230 for 9 days or $30 per day (4-day minimum)
• Registration Deadline: November 22, 2024
• Annual Registration Fee: $70 + tax (Only applies to campers who have not attended one of the 2024 camps.)

 

This program provides a well-rounded recreational experience, offering arts and crafts, games, sports, and surprise activities. Special holiday events will include a Christmas party, holiday-themed crafts, two trips to the Edge Ice Center (December 26 and January 2), and an opportunity for campers to make holiday cards for nursing homes.

Spaces are limited, so early registration is encouraged to secure your spot.
