Street Closures for "Trail of Treats" and "Red, White, and Blue" Events in Downtown Owensboro

STREET CLOSURES FOR "TRAIL OF TREATS" AND "RED, WHITE, AND BLUE" IN DOWNTOWN OWENSBORO
On Thursday, October 26, the City of Owensboro will close several downtown streets for the annual Trail of Treats event. Road closures include West 2nd Street and Veterans Boulevard from Daviess Street to Frederica Street. It also includes Allen Street, St. Ann Street, and Frederica Street from West 2nd Street to Veterans Boulevard. Crews will begin closing streets at 2:00 p.m. and reopen them after the event. Access to the Daviess Street parking garage will not be impacted during the street closures. Please drive through downtown carefully Thursday night as a large crowd is expected at the event which runs from 5:30 – 8:00 p.m.
The Greater Owensboro Chamber of Commerce will host its annual Red, White & Blue event starting at 5:00 p.m. in the Daviess County Courthouse Lawn.
