City of Owensboro to Break Ground on New Indoor Sports Facility

CITY OF OWENSBORO TO BREAK GROUND ON NEW
INDOOR SPORTS FACILITY
The City of Owensboro is thrilled to invite the community to a groundbreaking ceremony for the Indoor Sports Facility in downtown Owensboro. This state-of-the-art complex is set to become a central hub for sports in our community bringing a new level of opportunity to the City of Owensboro.
What: City of Owensboro Indoor Sports Facility Groundbreaking
When: Wednesday, August 28 at 9:30 a.m.
Where: 323 Cedar Street (Corner of West 3rd Street and Cedar Street)
The new 88,000-square-foot facility will feature one turf court and five basketball courts, all of which are adaptable for various sports and tournament play. This multi-purpose venue is designed to accommodate a wide range of sports activities, fostering local talent and attracting regional and national events to Owensboro. The facility is expected to be completed by June 2026,
