Dugan's Got Talent 2024 - Local High School Students Announced for the Chance to Win a $4,000 Scholarship

DUGAN’S GOT TALENT 2024 – LOCAL HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS ANNOUNCED FOR THE CHANCE TO WIN A $4,000 SCHOLARSHIP
The City of Owensboro Parks & Recreation Department is excited to announce the high school students performing in this year's Dugan’s Got Talent show. Contestants will compete for a $4,000 college scholarship.
The event, sponsored by Independence Bank, will take place on Friday, April 12 at 6 p.m. at the Dugan Best Recreation Center. Tickets may be purchased online at owensboroparks.org, or by calling the Parks & Recreation Administrative Center at (270) 687-8700 and Dugan Best Recreation Center at (270) 687-8714. Tickets may also be purchased at the door the night of the event. Tickets are $10 per person, with proceeds benefiting programming for local youth at Dugan Best Recreation Center.
This year’s finalists are:
Nate Watson (Senior) - Daviess County High School
Lily Berry (Senior) - Apollo High School
Helena Klein (Junior) - Daviess County High School
Clayton Manire (Senior) - Daviess County High School
Diba Karimi (Junior) - Owensboro High School
Abigail Oakes (Sophomore) - Glory and Grace Academy
Elizabeth Burgan (Senior) - Daviess County High School
Matthew Boarman (Sophomore) - Owensboro Catholic High School
Michya Durr-Dulin (Sophomore) - Apollo High School
Spencer Combs and Dylan McCollam (Seniors) - Owensboro High School
Jakovie Curry (Junior) - Owensboro High School
The show will be emceed by Chad Benefield, morning host and WBKR/WOMI Radio Personality at Townsquare Media. The judging panel will comprise of Mayor Thomas Watson, Dugan Best Neighborhood Alliance Chairperson Bobby McCormick, former Northwest Neighborhood Alliance Chairperson Rafe Buckner, Independence Bank Daviess County Market President Nick Oller, Independence Bank Community Enrichment Officer Susanne Story, and WEHT/WTVW Chief Meteorologist Ron Rhodes.
