The Owensboro Parks and Recreation Department is taking registrations for Fall Baseball Leagues. Leagues available are listed below:

 Rookie league (machine pitch)……………7-8 year olds

 Minor league (player pitch league……….9-10 year olds

 Major league (player pitch league)………11-12 year olds

Age groups are based upon the child’s age on May 1, 2016. The leagues will teach the fundamentals of baseball, including hitting, throwing, catching, fielding, and team sportsmanship.

League play will begin Monday, August 17. All games will be played at the Owensboro Softball Complex, located in Jack C. Fisher Park. Game times will be at either. The registration fee is $52 per player and includes a team t-shirt and hat. The deadline to register is Friday, July 24.
