GREENBELT EAST TRAIL EXTENSION
RIBBON CUTTING
October 29, 2019 – 3:00 p.m.
The City of Owensboro invites the public to attend a ribbon cutting at the newest trail addition in the Adkisson Greenbelt Park on Tuesday, October 29th at 3:00 p.m. The ribbon cutting will take place on the south section of Lagoon Lane off KY 603. The new extension will begin at Huck’s on Highway 54/Ragu Drive, follow the former eastbound bypass ramp pavement and the former bypass eastbound lane. The sixteen-mile long trails that comprise the Greenbelt Park offer a ten-foot wide ADA asphalt surface which easily accommodates recreational walking, running, skating, and bicycling.
