MAYOR WATSON PROCLAIMS APRIL 12 – APRIL 18, 2020
“NATIONAL PUBLIC SAFETY TELECOMMUNICATORS WEEK”
Mayor Watson proclaims April 12 through April 18, 2020 as “National Public Safety Telecommunicators Week” in Owensboro, in honor of the men and women whose diligence and professionalism keep our city and citizens safe. A proclamation was issued to 911-Director, Paul Nave, and the Owensboro-Daviess County 911 Dispatch team. Public Safety Telecommunicators are the first and most critical contact our citizens have with emergency services and the Owensboro-Daviess County 911 Dispatch Center has contributed substantially to the apprehension of criminals, suppression of fires, and treatment of patients.
